Our first project involves two people training in Japan, Emily Reynolds for two years, and Angela Francis for six months.
Our sites will include restoration work for palaces, temples, tea houses, store houses, and residences. Through restoration work, one learns the skills that help a building last for decades, even centuries, when using earth as a building material. We find the approach, the process and the end product in Japan beautiful. We are excited to learn from these masters, deepen our understanding, increase our skills, and share them with you, so we may participate in the creation of an increasingly beautiful, healthy world.
